Public PTO meeting 1: Tuesday, August 26, 2025
Jenny calls meeting to order at 6:08. Ashley Wood makes a motion to skip reading of previous meeting minutes, Amy Wright 2nds the motion and motion is approved. Mrs. Harrison introduces school teachers and staff. Skye presents PTO membership prizes to the winning teachers and teachers are dismissed to prepare for parent meetings. $4000 was membership goal and actual raised was $4,303.97. Jenny introduces PTO board. Friday is first spirit day, reminder that all classes with 100% participation on spirit days win a popsicle party. The class with the most 100% days at the end of the year will be featured in the yearbook. Jenny goes over upcoming events of importance, Tiger 2K (sept 19), movie night (Nov 10), cookies with paws (Dec 9). Petra goes over the highlights of the proposed yearly budget. Rachel Maxwell makes a motion to approve the budget, Ashley Wood 2nds and the budget is approved by the members. Gabbi goes over Tiger 2k presentation. Family is encouraged to participate the day of the walk. Next meeting is held Dec 9th at 6pm. Meeting concludes at 6:35pm.
